Primary Responsibilities

1. Financial Management & Investment Governance

Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for overseas entities in accordance with IFRS and relevant regulatory standards. Manage complex consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
Investment & Tax Compliance: Oversee cross-border tax planning, transfer pricing, and compliance with local regulations in various investment jurisdictions.
Management Reporting & Valuation: Coordinate and prepare comprehensive financial analysis, portfolio valuation updates, and materials for internal management reporting and board presentations.
Audit & Controls: Standardize and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting across multiple entities. Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax advisors.
Fund & Cash Flow Management: Monitor capital calls, distributions, and treasury functions to optimize fund liquidity and investment returns.

2. Human Resources & Administration

Cross-Border HR Operations: Oversee end-to-end HR functions for overseas offices/entities, including payroll management, benefits administration, and compliance with local labor laws.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Partner with senior leadership to identify staffing needs, manage recruitment processes for key overseas positions, and facilitate smooth onboarding.
Office Administration: Supervise general office administration and legal entity maintenance for the overseas management platform.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Business Administration. CPA, CFA, or professional HR certification is highly preferred.

2. Experience:

Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Experience in Investment Firms, Private Equity, Family Offices, or Multinational Corporations (MNCs) with multi-entity structures is highly desired.
Proven track record of handling both Finance and HR/Admin functions (or a strong willingness and aptitude to manage both).

3. Technical Knowledge:

Solid knowledge of IFRS, cross-border taxation, and consolidation accounting.
Familiarity with global ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and HRIS platforms.

4. Skills:

Excellent English and Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory to interface effectively with headquarters (PEWC) and overseas operating partners.
