The latest ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey, released this morning, paints a cautious picture for the new year.


While 31% of employers plan to increase headcount, 29% anticipate reductions—the narrowest gap in two years. The report cites "high operational costs" and "economic uncertainty" as key dampeners.
