Job Summary:
AR Engineer will spearhead the development and integration of AR within Laservall’s product line. In this role, you will firstly work on AR guidance on industrial maintenance
aimed at shortening field issue debugging, minimize field support resources’ cost and finally building a customer self-maintenance and remote guidance system. And work on product performance improvement and new product proposal. You will work cross-functionally with design, process engineering, and product development teams to embed AR into our products.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for algorithm development, optimization, debugging and DEMO in AR/AI innovation incubation projects on the server/mobile side;
· Based on Lens or Tablet/phone mobile development, including the implementation of AR engine, algorithm integration, coding communication, 3D virtual and real fusion display, etc.;
· Responsible for the iterative optimization and updating of APP on the mobile side;
· Participate in 3D/AR vision algorithm-related server side development and tuning;
· Collaborate with design, testing, and development teams to convert simulation results into actual engineering improvement plans;
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or above in computer related majors, with strong interest in AR development
· Understanding of computer graphics, 3D modeling, real-time rendering and other technologies.
· Familiar with AI technology (such as computer vision, natural language processing, etc.) and its application in AR.
· Skilled in using unity3d engine, familiar with Shader, familiar with unity related development plug-ins, such as UGUI, Blend, Tree, Dotween, Cinemachine, ShaderGraph, URP.
· Familiar with C# event and delegate system, Action Func and other keywords application, familiar with asynchronous operation. Familiar with rigid body related operations.
· Familiar with HoloLens or RealWear.
· Familiar with OpenXR / MRTK
· Familiarity with C++/Python is a plus;
· Experience in video communication is a plus;
· Knowledge of mainstream AR SDKs (including ARkit, ARCore, AR Engine, Vulforia, etc.) is a plus.
· Experience in developing on Android / IOS platforms is a plus.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Open to learning new technologies and willing to work in a diverse environment.
· Good command of spoken and written English.
· Good command of spoken Chinese is a plus.
· May require occasional same-day round trips to our Shenzhen office.
